Shipping Options and Policies
Areas We Ship To
We ship only to the Continental U.S., Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, U.S. territories, and Canada. We use UPS as our primary shipping method. Please note that UPS will not deliver to a P.O. Box, so you will have to supply a regular street address when ordering.
Shipping Cost
For shipments to the Continental U.S., estimated shipping costs for each item are displayed on that item's product information page. Final shipping charges are calculated during the checkout process. In most cases, this will be less than or equal to the total of the shipping costs for each individual item in your order. If ordering from Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, Puerto Rico, or Canada, please contact us for a rate quote.
All shipping costs are based on actual weight or dimensional weight, whichever is greater. There is no minimum charge for shipments to the Continental U.S. Additional charges may apply to shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S territories, Puerto Rico, and Canada.
Shipping Options
During the checkout process, you will have the opportunity to select your preferred shipping method. For the contiguous United States, we offer shipping via UPS Ground, UPS 2nd Day Air, and UPS Next Day Air. If you require a different shipping method, please contact us and we will do our best to make arrangements.
From time to time, we may offer Free Shipping on select items. These may be limited-time offers and may be withdrawn at any time. To be eligible for Free Shipping, orders must be placed prior to the withdrawal of the offer. Free Shipping applies only to orders shipped via standard UPS Ground shipping to destinations within the contiguous United States.
Shipping Time
Orders are reviewed and processed upon receipt and are generally shipped within two business days. In the event of delays, we will attempt to contact you, so please supply as much contact information (telephone numbers, e-mail address, etc.) as possible. We will advise you of an estimated shipping date and give you the option to await shipment, substitute another item, or cancel your order.
Return Policy
Please inspect all items upon receipt and refuse delivery if there are external defects. Notify us immediately. Damaged or defective merchandise may be reported within 30 days of receipt for replacement or credit. All other returns are subject to a restocking fee. Please keep the item and original packaging. We will take the necessary steps to replace these items as quickly as possible. We do not accept any returns or damaged item claims after 30 days. Items covered by manufacturers warranties may offer additional guarantees, available from the manufacturer.
To inquire about returning an item, please contact custserv@chessmonarch.com to make arrangements. We will not accept any returns without prior approval. Upon approval, we will issue you a credit for the purchase price of the items, less shipping. Items must be returned in new and unused condition and in the original packaging.
Sales Taxes
We collect sales tax only on orders shipped to addresses within the state of Maryland. If you supply a shipping address within Maryland, sales tax will be applied to your order automatically during the checkout process.
